Food Production Supervisor – Shift & Line Supervision (Food Manufacturing, Dubai)

Bagason Middle East General Trading LLC is a Dubai-based FMCG distribution and food trading company supplying supermarkets, hypermarkets, groceries, HoReCa and e-commerce channels across the UAE and wider GCC. We manage a portfolio of international and own-label food and beverage brands through van sales, key accounts, modern trade and marketplace channels, backed by our own warehousing, cold chain and food production operations.

The role

You run the shift. You are on the floor, and the line's output, quality, hygiene and safety for those hours are yours.

What you'll do

• Supervise the production and packing lines during your shift; allocate manpower and hit the shift output target.
• Conduct the pre-start checks — line clearance, hygiene, equipment condition, correct materials and correct batch/expiry codes on the line.
• Monitor and record CCPs and quality checks — weights, temperatures, seal integrity, coding, metal detection — and act immediately on deviation.
• Enforce GMP and personal hygiene: PPE, handwashing, no-jewellery, glass and hard-plastic policy, allergen segregation and cleaning schedules.
• Manage changeovers with full line clearance to prevent cross-contamination and mixed-batch errors.
• Record production output, raw material consumption, rework and wastage for every batch, and reconcile the numbers at end of shift.
• Log downtime and breakdowns; coordinate with maintenance to restore the line quickly.
• Train, brief and discipline operators and helpers; run the shift handover briefing.
• Complete production, sanitation and traceability documentation accurately — audits are won or lost on these records.

What you need

• 3+ years in food production or packing, with at least 1 year supervising a team.
• Solid working knowledge of HACCP, GMP and food hygiene; HACCP certification preferred.
• Able to lead a multilingual shop-floor team and hold standards under output pressure.
• Accurate with production records, batch codes and basic yield / wastage arithmetic.
• Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends and overtime.
• Diploma or degree in Food Technology / Food Science, or equivalent hands-on experience.

• Dubai Municipality PIC certificate
• Packing machine experience (filling, sealing, labelling, coding)
• Odoo or ERP production entry
