About Bagason

Bagason Middle East General Trading LLC is a Dubai-based FMCG distribution and food trading company supplying supermarkets, hypermarkets, groceries, HoReCa and e-commerce channels across the UAE and wider GCC. We manage a portfolio of international and own-label food and beverage brands through van sales, key accounts, modern trade and marketplace channels, backed by our own warehousing, cold chain and food production operations.

The role

Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment safely and efficiently in our Dubai FMCG food distribution warehouse — moving pallets between receiving, racking, pick faces and loading bays without damaging stock, racking or people.

What you'll do

  • Operate counterbalance forklift, reach truck and pallet truck to move, stack and retrieve palletised goods.
  • Unload containers and trucks; place pallets into racking locations at height and retrieve them for picking and dispatch.
  • Load outbound delivery trucks and van sales vehicles, securing loads correctly.
  • Move stock between locations for putaway, replenishment, stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO) and stock counts.
  • Complete the daily equipment pre-use check — brakes, forks, hydraulics, tyres, horn, battery/fuel — and report any fault immediately. Never operate a defective machine.
  • Follow all warehouse safety rules: speed limits, pedestrian walkways, load limits, no passengers, no raised-load travel.
  • Keep the battery charging area and equipment clean and in order.
  • Support the warehouse team with general duties when not operating.

What you need

  • Valid UAE forklift operator licence / certification — this is mandatory and will be verified.
  • 2+ years' forklift experience, preferably in a warehouse, logistics or FMCG environment.
  • Confident working at racking height and in narrow aisles.
  • Clean safety record and a genuinely safety-first attitude.
  • Able to read location codes, pallet labels and picking documents in English.
  • Willing to work shifts, weekends and overtime during peak periods.

Nice to have

  • Reach truck or VNA experience
  • UAE light vehicle driving licence
  • Food or cold-store warehouse experience
  • Scanner / WMS experience
