Bagason Middle East General Trading LLC is a Dubai-based FMCG distribution and food trading company supplying supermarkets, hypermarkets, groceries, HoReCa and e-commerce channels across the UAE and wider GCC. We manage a portfolio of international and own-label food and beverage brands through van sales, key accounts, modern trade and marketplace channels, backed by our own warehousing, cold chain and food production operations.

The role

You own the physical supply chain from the moment stock lands to the moment it reaches the customer — warehouse, fleet and last-mile delivery across the UAE.

What you'll do

  • Own end-to-end logistics: inbound receiving, warehousing, order fulfilment, fleet and last-mile delivery across the UAE.
  • Manage the warehouse operation — layout, storage strategy, picking productivity, dispatch accuracy and stock accuracy through cycle counts.
  • Enforce FIFO/FEFO and shelf-life management; minimise expiry write-off and damages.
  • Run the delivery fleet — route planning, load optimisation, driver management, vehicle maintenance, fuel, Salik and insurance.
  • Own the logistics cost line: cost per delivery, cost per carton, manpower productivity and third-party transport spend.
  • Maintain food-safety and hygiene standards in storage and transport, including temperature-controlled handling where applicable.
  • Coordinate with Import/Documentation on inbound scheduling and with Sales on delivery commitments and returns.
  • Lead supervisors, storekeepers, forklift drivers, helpers and drivers; manage rosters, training and safety.
  • Report KPIs: on-time in-full delivery, order accuracy, stock accuracy, expiry / damage value, cost per delivery.

What you need

  • 7+ years in FMCG or food logistics / warehousing in the UAE, with 3+ years managing teams.
  • Proven ownership of stock accuracy and logistics cost; comfortable with WMS/ERP — Odoo Inventory preferred.
  • Practical knowledge of UAE fleet operations, driver management and RTA requirements.
  • Food-safety awareness (HACCP for storage and transport) and warehouse HSE.
  • Bachelor's in Logistics / Supply Chain or equivalent. Valid UAE driving licence.
