Sales Merchandiser – Supermarket & Hypermarket Shelf Execution (FMCG, UAE)

Bagason Middle East General Trading LLC is a Dubai-based FMCG distribution and food trading company supplying supermarkets, hypermarkets, groceries, HoReCa and e-commerce channels across the UAE and wider GCC. We manage a portfolio of international and own-label food and beverage brands through van sales, key accounts, modern trade and marketplace channels, backed by our own warehousing, cold chain and food production operations.

The role

Own the shelf. You make sure our products are on it, facing forward, in date and priced right, in supermarkets and hypermarkets across your territory. We have merchandiser routes in several emirates.

What you'll do

• Visit assigned supermarkets and hypermarkets daily on a fixed journey plan.
• Ensure on-shelf availability — fill shelves from back stock, flag out-of-stocks and chase replenishment before the shelf goes empty.
• Execute planogram and facing compliance, secure and defend shelf share, and place products at the correct eye level.
• Rotate stock by FIFO/FEFO, remove near-expiry and damaged stock and report it for claim or return.
• Build and maintain displays, gondola ends, promotions and POSM; keep price tags and promotional signage correct.
• Record competitor pricing, promotions, new launches and shelf changes and report them.
• Build a working relationship with store supervisors and section in-charges.
• Submit a daily report with photos of shelf and display execution.

What you need

• 1–3 years' merchandising experience with an FMCG brand or distributor in the UAE.
• Understanding of planograms, shelf share, FIFO rotation and expiry management.
• Physically active — you will be on your feet, lifting and stacking, all day.
• Smartphone-comfortable for photo reporting; basic English.
• Willing to work retail hours including weekends.

Nice to have

• UAE driving licence
• Experience in a major hypermarket chain
• Arabic
