Sales Promoter – In-Store Food Sampling & Brand Activation (Supermarkets, UAE)

About Bagason

Bagason Middle East General Trading LLC is a Dubai-based FMCG distribution and food trading company supplying supermarkets, hypermarkets, groceries, HoReCa and e-commerce channels across the UAE and wider GCC. We manage a portfolio of international and own-label food and beverage brands through van sales, key accounts, modern trade and marketplace channels, backed by our own warehousing, cold chain and food production operations.

The role

Be the face of our food brands inside the store. You demonstrate, sample and sell directly to shoppers — and you are measured on what actually sells. We run activations in supermarkets and hypermarkets across the UAE.

What you'll do

• Promote and demonstrate our food and beverage products to shoppers inside supermarkets and hypermarkets.
• Run sampling and tasting activations hygienically and to food-safety standards.
• Convert shopper interest into purchase — explain the product, the offer and the reason to buy.
• Achieve the daily and monthly sell-out target for your store and activation.
• Keep the promotion table, display, stock and POSM clean, full and presentable at all times.
• Report daily sales, samples used, stock consumed, shopper feedback and competitor activity.
• Represent the brand professionally and in uniform.

What you need

• 1+ year in in-store promotion, sampling, retail sales or customer-facing FMCG work — UAE experience preferred.
• Outgoing, confident approaching shoppers, and genuinely persuasive.
• Good spoken English; Arabic, Hindi, Urdu, Tagalog or Malayalam a strong advantage.
• Well-presented and comfortable standing for a full retail shift.
• Willing to work weekends, evenings and public holidays — that's when the shoppers are there.

Nice to have

• Food handler / basic food hygiene certificate (we can arrange it)
• Experience with food tasting activations
